- 5½ tablespoons (80 g) butter (room temperature)
- 4 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups (240 g) flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar

Chocolate crinkle cookies:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, and butter until smooth.
2. Beat in the eggs one by one, then mix in the vanilla extract until the ingredients are combined.
3. In another medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add this flour mixture to the cocoa mixture and mix with an electric mixer on low speed, then knead until the ingredients are combined into a smooth mass.
4. Cover the prepared chocolate cookie dough with cling film and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
5. When the dough has chilled, preheat the oven to 350°F / 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
6. Scoop out the chilled dough with a spoon and roll it into 2-3 cm balls with your hands.
7. Roll the chocolate cookie balls in powdered sugar and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Baking Instructions:
1. Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
For the baked cookies, let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
